Since its inception in 1997, Earthdance has been held annually in over 500 locations in 80 countries with all events simultaneously joining together in the Prayer for Peace – a powerful moment of coherent intention. Each public Earthdance event commits 50% or more of its profits to a charity addressing peace, sustainability, or social justice. In Support of Earthchild Project, Shine Centre, Next Aid, Greenpop and other local causes.

I really want these tickets because I will give one to my brother who I hardly ever see as we live quite a distance from each other and we are both always so busy! He’s only been to a few outdoor parties, so this could be his first Earthdance and from my previous experience, I wanna show him one of the best parties of the year.

Stepping onto the Earthdance dancefloor is like stepping into another world…outer space, an underworld, narnia, it is the eptiome of what some would call HEAVEN. It is my pardise of trance, listening and dancing to the mind blowing beats of some of the best trance dj’s around. It is an unforgettable experience and something which one can only understand if they are there. It is a party with a cause, and nothing gets better than that! It brings our world together through music and the attempt at attaining world peace.

And I for one want nothing else than to commune through godlike frequencies and jam like there is no tomorrow with my fellow music missionaries while achieving higher consciousness.

I have always wanted to experience awesomeness that is Earthdance but alas every year I seem to find myself unable to! I want to attend this festival because of what it stands for. The love our planet. The love of dance.
The love of connecting people around the world through the power of dance!
I wanna bring my own power to this festival. My power of immediately befriending strangers.
I dont wanna blow my own horn, but I’ve been told that i have the power to walk into a room full of strangers and within a few minutes i will have them in stitches! Or at least smiling. Or ultimately i will have made new friends!
I know Earthdance is the perfect place for me to make friends and to bring smiles to faces unknown to me before!
Im talking about everything from a simple glance and smile to the person dancing next to you, or befriending a group of strangers for the night or just on the dancefloor to forging brand new lifetime long friendships and strengthening old friendships!
I wanna experience this and more at Earthdance! Love and dance!
i can’t wait to feel the grass between my toes and the sunshine on my skin!! winter has been too long and cold!! we have been inside enough now! i need to get out and what better way than with Earthdance!! what a great way to show your love and support for all these awesome DJs that just want to make rad music and give everyones life a really cool soundtrack…. i really want to go to Earthdance this year, the line up is crazy sick… please help a girl out- money is tight but i applied for a new job today so it can only get better from here (hopefully). and BPM Mag can start the “getting better-ness” with these amazing double tickets and CD hamper!! love the earth and keep it safe, it’s the only one we have!!

I think I deserve these tickets because I have a big microbiology test nest week and earthdance is going to help me de-stress and become at peace with everything in the world!! And it is going to make this 3 year anniversary of mine and conors the best one ever!! And the cds are going to keep me happy while driving around in my car and even when being stuck in traffic!! Please. I have never been to an outdoor, weekend party of any sorts before and I really want earthdance to be my first. I know it will be amazing and I will love outdoor weekend parties forever! This comp has got me so amped. I reeeeeeally want to win!
EARTH DANCE, prancy prancing in the mud with love. life at earth dance is mud-licious and puddle-wonderful and psy-tacular. its flower-some and sun-goodness, only happy colours allowed. smiles are welcomed. i can’t wait to hit the mud with my bare feet bouncing to the groovy tunes of deliriant and regan. a little bit of broken toy then shift onto parana. ill happily bounce over to the other floors and hear the happy beats of 7ft soundsystem and mr sakitumi. the loop-da-loops of mr jeremy loops will make me smile and toby 2 shoes always puts some skip in my jump. all of this excitement and happy memories is what earthdance is all about. aaand free stuff is always that little bit better – a ticket would really make this years earthdance the best thing since waffles and ice cream. especially as.. without it.. i may not have the funds to go. you guys are the bees knees. the cats pajamas. the dogs bollacks and many more. AWEH-some.
Firstly, I have never attended Earthdance and am dying to experience it. Secondly, this type of event puts me in my element, I cannot think of a better way to feel free and unwind. Trance speaks to my soul and moves me in a way nothing else can. I not only want these tickets but I need them!!
If I win this competition the CD hamper will make a great difference in my life by helping to make my drive from Stellenbosch much less boring and make morning and evening traffic much more bearable!! And of course the tickets will make me the happiest most excited person alive! I just wana experience earthdance!
We even switch our geyser off!! Save the planet. Energy saving light bulbs. and have a diesel car. And cycle. And recycle. I even have a tshirt with a forest and a recycling sign in the shape of a heart <3 it says: "keep it clean to keep it green". Green is my favourite colour. Peace. Love. Unity.
Aaaaaand if you gave me these tickets I would be so grateful that I would get to have a whole weekend to myself and bf and not hav2 worry about work and studying and running around after lil brothers!! I love the earth and trees and forests and recycling and dancing and loving and stomping and BPM Life/Mag!! And I would reeEeeally love tickets to see headroom, broken toy, the commercial hippies, bruce willis, hyphen vs SFR, niskerone and sibot!!! Earthdance is a music festival which brings like-minded people all over the world together through music,good vibes and an amazing effort at achieving world peace. It takes place in 500 venues in 80 countries all around the world. It is a life changing experience and something which I will only be able to attend if I win tickets. PLEASE GIVE ME THESE TICKETS!!! You will make my year!!!!! I wasn’t able to attend last year as I had the most hectic exam schedule but this year I’m free and I definitely think it’s a sign ;)
It is a party which gives each and every person the opportunity to completely lose and immerse themselves in the magical and exciting world of trance..every person who has entered this competition deserves to win the tickets as much as I do, but I am keeping my fingers crossed that the winner will be me! The only thing getting me through my mock matric exams has been the delightful thought of stomping myself stupid at Earthdance, just in time to write finals. My mind has been kept busy swimming in thoughts of Earthdance 2010 bliss and I seriously can’t focus on anything else. I lie awake at night browsing the Earthdance website just because I CANNOT WAIT TO GET THERE!!! Please, pretty please, with a thousand cherries on top, make me the winner of your competition. My brother just recently turned 18 and for the past year he’s been listening to more and more trance music.
If I won the tickets I’d take him to his first trance party, this would also be my first but seeing as all him and his
Friends can talk about is earthdance… Especially because its right after pre-lims. It would also be special for him
Cuz next year he’s taking a gap year to work as a cricket coach in India for underpriviledge children.
These tickets and the cd hamper would be the best gift I could give him for everything he’s done for me.
The reason I think I should be given tickets is because neither my wife or I have ever attended Earthdance – for some or other reason we never seem to be able to make it happen. I recently lost my job so this years Earthdance is looking doubtful and it sucks because my wife is so keen to have some time out. We have a two year old son and its hard to get out much – we could REALLY use the break. We are avid supporters of the trance movement – I attended my first party in early ’95, a small gathering on Silverstroomstrand – needled to say it changed my life. Please BPM, be the rad magazine / people that you are and make my me and my wife the happiest couple in Cape Town by giving us tickets and a CD hamper… much love.

I’ve never experienced Earthdance before but over the years I’ve been told by EVERYONE how insanely Awesome it is! and Im tired of being told all these incredible stories…This year, I want to tell my own stories and have my own unbelievable experiences! Its about Damn Time! I want to feel the way everyone else feels after experiencing such an amazing festival and I want to be one of those troopers who never sleep and just take in all of Earthdance’s magically energy! I dont just WANT this…I NEED this!! Would be an Incredible weekend to say the least! :) Cannot be missed! If only money wasnt an issue, Id be up there already, just waiting for it to start :D
I think i should win the tickets because i have been to the last 3 earthdances and i have had the best time of my life every time i’ve gone….how ever this year i dont have alotta cash to buy a ticket so i will be very bleak if i miss this years earthdance… PLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAASSSSEEEEEEEEEEE :)
